Artist Rósa Gísladóttir presents her works at National Gallery.
The Icelandic Artist Rósa Gísladóttir introduced her works in the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi on 23rd April 2024, especially the works at exhibitions, such as in Einar Jónsson Art Museum in Reykjavík 2023 and the Foro di Trajano in Rome in 2012. At her most recent exhibition in Gerður Helgadóttir Museum in Gerðarsafni in 2023 the artist has the concept of the sacrifice past and present as the main theme.
Artist Rósa Gísladóttir discussed the influence India, its culture, architecture and astronomy on her ideas and work. After the introduction there were discussions on art and the environment. The Director General of NGMA, Dr. Sanjeev Kishor Goutam, and the Icelandic Ambassador Guðni Bragason addressed the gathering.
