Iceland Supports the Indian National Culinary Team
The Embassy of Iceland invited members of the Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA) to a reception on 4th December 2022 to celebrate the signing of an agreement between the IFCA and Chef Gissur Guðmundsson of Banyan Fine Food for setting up an Indian National Culinary Team to participate in international culinary competitions. Some of India´s best known chefs attended the reception. At the reception, guests were offered skyr products of the Skyrrup firm in India and gin products of the MÓA Hálogi Distillery in Reykjavík.
Chef Gissur Guðmundsson has cooperated with Indian colleagues for years and exhibited products of his firm, Banyan Fine Food at SIAL Food Fair (Salon International de L´Alimentation) in New Delhí, 01 - 03 December 2023.
