Icelandic Writer Sjón Introduces his Works in India.
Sjón visits India at the invitation of Literature Across Frontiers and participates in readings in New Delhi and Kerala State along with writers from Georgia, Latvia, Spain and the United Kingdom. The programme is supported by the Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi and the Icelandic Literature Centre.
In New Delhi Sjón reads from his works and talks on the subject of disability and children at the Eureka bookstore, organised by the Bookaroo Literature Festival. At the Ashoka University he had a session with the creative writing department.
In Kerala Sjón and his fellow writers participates in the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters.
Ambassador Guðni Bragason invited prominent Indian authors , Participating Writers and Organisers to a Reception at the residence.
