Ambassador visits the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology

The Icelandic delegation visiting Uttarakhand 11 – 13 November met with the experts at the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology in Dehradun. Ambassador Guðni Bragason was received by dr. Kalachand Sain, the Director of the Institute and a group of scientists. The Institute is a leading scientific body in the research of the effect of climate change on the glaciers in the Himalaya and the discussion on the so called Third Pole. The institute has also made extensive research on geothermal sites near the Himalayas.
