5th National Report of Iceland at the IAEA
Dr Sigurður M. Magnússon, Director of the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority, introduced the 5th National Report of Iceland at the 6th Review Meeting the Contracting Parties to the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management, held at the Headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna 7 – 11 June 2018. Representatives of 78 contracting parties attended the Review Meeting of the Joint Convention which went into force 2001 and was ratified by Iceland in April 2006. At the meeting peer reviews on the country reports by experts from the contracting parties take place.
