Embassy Held Virtual Meeting with Iceland´s Honorary Consuls

Today the Embassy of Iceland in Beijing held a virtual Consular Conference with Iceland´s Honorary Consuls in Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, and Laos. The meeting was an opportunity for the Honorary Consuls and the Embassy to meet virtually, discuss and plan for the year ahead and beyond. The meeting was conducted by the Ambassador Thorir Ibsen. The agenda included, pandemic restrictions and situation in each jurisdiction, upcoming anniversaries of diplomatic relations, as well as trade and culture related issues. Iceland´s Sustainable Development Partnership Fund and its opportunities were also introduced to the Honorary Consuls.
