2024 Shanxi Tourism Development Conference
Ambassador Thorir Ibsen attended the 2024 Shanxi Tourism Development Conference in Taiyuan on 25-26 July. He made a presentation on Icelandic tourism resources and travel to Iceland at the International Tourism Promotion to an audience of local tourism companies and invited journalists and delivered a VIP address on the Launch Ceremony of the Match-making activities. During his meeting with local leaders, Ambassador Ibsen expressed his hope that Iceland and Shanxi shall extend their cooperation from clean energy and low carbon industry to tourism and other sectors.
