Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Iceland Visited Qingdao City in Shandong Province

Ms. Inga Petursdottir, Deputy Head of Mission (DHoM) of the Embassy of Iceland, recently participated in the kick-off of a landmark project between Carbon Recycling International and CNTY, which aims to construct the world’s largest methanol plant. This initiative underscores the collaboration between Iceland and China in the renewable energy sector, marking a significant step forward in green innovation.

Additionally, it was a pleasure to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Eimskip in China. Over the years, Eimskip has established itself as a trusted partner in the region, expanding its operations to five offices and experiencing steady growth. We wish the Eimskip team continued success in the years ahead.

The recent China Fisheries & Seafood Expo also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with numerous Icelandic businesses. Icelandic companies garnered positive attention for their commitment to providing top-quality fresh produce, technology, logistics, and transportation solutions.
