The Embassy of Iceland in Beijing received representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People´s Republic of China today. Mr. Fan Li, Deputy Director General, and Mr. Fei Yue, Deputy Division Director, the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry visited the Embassy. Mr. William Freyr Huntingdon-Williams, Chargé d'affaires ad interim, and Mr. Petur Yang Li, Trade Representative, received them.
The two sides discussed current and future cooperation between Iceland and China on green energy and climate change mitigation, with special attention given to geothermal energy. Potential upcoming meetings at a government level where also discussed.Efnisorð
